On May 26, 2009, the “Second National Particle Size Measurement Comparison Summary Conference†organized by China Particle Society Particle Testing Professional Committee, China Institute of Metrology, Beijing Powder Technology Association was successfully held in Beijing Longquan Hotel. . At the meeting, Hu Rongze, Liu Xiwei, Zhou Suhong, Cai Xiaoshu, Song Jin, Zhang Wenge, Zhou Xiaolong and other experts, as well as representatives of more than 20 instrument manufacturers and laboratories participating in the comparison. The conference analyzed the results of the comparison of the three types of particle size analyzers and issued certificates to the relevant units participating in the comparison. The meeting was a complete success.
At the meeting, Prof. Hu Rongze, the leader of the expert group, elaborated on the “stable statistics†used in the comparison results. Teacher Zhou Xiaolong introduced the reference materials used in the comparison. Let everyone have a detailed understanding of the statistics of this comparison. At the same time, the conference also invited three instrument manufacturers, Malvern Instruments, Zhuhai Omega Technology Co., Ltd. and Beckman Coulter, to make a wonderful report on the current status and development of particle size analyzers at home and abroad.
The particle size analyzers are divided into three categories, among which: 15 laboratories and instrument manufacturers participate in the first type of ultra-fine range particle size instrument comparison; 22 laboratories and instrument manufacturers participate in the second category. Micron-scale laser particle size analyzers are compared; 19 laboratories and instrument manufacturers (23 instruments) participate in the third type of liquid particle counters. The results of the comparison were satisfactory.
At present, there are many types of particle size analyzers used in China, and users are involved in various industries. These particle size analyzers play an important role in nanometer/submicron/micron particle size measurement, particle size distribution measurement, particle number and concentration measurement. Its role is widely used in medical, electronics, pharmaceutical, aerospace, electric power, environmental and other industries. The reliability of its measurement data is directly related to the development of scientific research, product quality, measurement and arbitration, and evaluation of results.
Through the development of this comparison activity, various manufacturers have improved the measurement accuracy and theoretical research of the instrument, promoted the development of the particle size instrument industry in China, and narrowed the gap with foreign instruments.
