Up till now, there have been a total of 157 projects funded by the Central Government’s exploration and social capital cooperation, and the social investment driven by it has approached 1:10. It is understood that by the middle of this century, the demand for mineral resources in China will remain strong, and the demand for mineral resources is likely to reach a peak between 2025 and 2035. In order to guide and stimulate social capital to enter the risk exploration field of mineral exploration, it was jointly entrusted by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Land and Resources, and in September 2007, the Central Geological Survey ** Management Center was established. In the past three years since the establishment of the center, there have been 191 projects for field construction and 44 large and medium-sized mineral deposits have been discovered for coal, gold, lead, zinc and other important minerals.
