power supply
DC resistance fast tester provides two kinds of power for testing: AC220V/DC12V. In the case of strong electromagnetic field interference, it is recommended to use the DC power supply test. In this state, the tested value is stable and the power frequency interference resistance is strong.
A. DC power test:
Close the power switch, the power indicator light, press the "start and stop" button, you can select the appropriate resistance gear switch to test. After the test is completed, press the "start and stop" button, the "discharge" indicator light (if the test item storage capacity is small, then the "discharge" indicator does not light), after discharge, "discharge" indicator light extinguished, and then convert the test Clip, test again.
B. AC power test:
Connect the AC220V power supply, the corresponding indicator ("charge" indicator or "full" indicator) is on, close the power switch, and the power indicator is on. Press the start/stop key to select the corresponding resistance range switch for testing. After the test is completed, press the "start and stop" button. The "discharge" indicator light is on. After the discharge, the "discharge" indicator is extinguished, and then the test clip is converted and a test is performed again.
C, charge:
Connect the AC220V power supply. At this time, the "charge" indicator is on, indicating that the rechargeable battery inside the instrument is being charged. If the rechargeable battery inside the instrument is full, the “full” indicator lights up. The instrument is also charging the internal battery while using the AC power test. (The instrument has been designed with a charge protection circuit and will not be overcharged)
Test line connection method
Connect the instrument's I+, V+, V-, and I- terminals to the test object as shown in Figure 1. This connection method eliminates the effect of contact resistance and wire resistance on the measurement.
In use, if the length of the test cord that comes with the instrument is not enough, the test cord can be lengthened using a wire of comparable diameter.

Discharging
After testing, the total power can be turned off directly. If you are in a sensible test product, you should not disconnect the wire immediately after turning off the power. Allow the instrument to continue discharging. Generally discharge for at least 20 seconds, otherwise the back-EMF of the inductor will endanger personal safety.
