In recent years, developed countries' manufacturing industries have used modern high-efficiency cutting tools to increase labor productivity to save costs. With the development of the manufacturing industry, all countries have developed modern and efficient tools as an important means to improve the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.

According to statistics published by multinational corporations, the annual manufacturing and processing costs of global manufacturing industry have reached more than 400 billion U.S. dollars, of which tooling costs are about 20 billion U.S. dollars. In recent years, manufacturing industries in developed countries have adopted modern high-efficiency cutting tools to increase labor productivity. The annual cost savings for manufacturing industry amounted to US$100 billion, which is far higher than the investment in cutting tools. Therefore, all countries have taken the development of modern and efficient tools as an important means to increase the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry. In the processing process, cutting tools are productive, not the concept of consumables. A consensus has been formed in developed countries, and the proportion of cutting tool consumption in manufacturing costs has reached 3~4.

At present, companies in our industry have established various research and development centers, engineering centers, and so on. However, they have had little research and development on the basic technologies of modern high-efficiency cutting tools.
