Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and other ministries, the central government will invest in the nuclear safety and radiation safety center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection to build a nuclear safety supervision technical support system. The first important construction project is to develop a complete set of Range Verification Simulator."
The “full-scale verification simulator†signed this time is a second-generation improved PWR nuclear power technology with the largest number of units under construction and in operation in China, and develops a set of accidents covering the normal working conditions, design basis accidents and super design basis. The full-scale verification simulation system (severe accident) completes the operation control operation of the virtual nuclear power plant according to the actual operation and operation procedures of the nuclear power plant and the accident handling procedures. The full-range verification simulator not only accommodates most of the functions of a full-scale simulator of a general nuclear power plant, but also needs to meet the special functional requirements for safety review and verification. Compared with a few nuclear power verification simulators in the developed countries of nuclear power in the world, the full-scale verification simulator for nuclear power developed in China will reach the international advanced level in the overall technical level, simulation accuracy and simulation range, and will adopt international advanced Simulation support system, as well as internationally recognized reactor thermal hydraulic calculation procedures, severe accident analysis procedures, etc.
This time, CGNPC Simulation Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., is responsible for the development of a “full-scale verification simulator†for the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. It is the core of China Nuclear Power Group's experience in nuclear power operation, engineering and technology development. The construction of the full-scale verification simulator for nuclear power will fill the gaps in the technical means for independent calculation, verification and verification of nuclear power plant operating procedures, nuclear accidents and emergency command, and can greatly improve the technical support capability in the nuclear safety review process. It is of great significance to improve the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants in China and the supervision of nuclear power safety.
