Electric plug lock use and performance

use

Usually the electric plug consists of two main parts: the lock body and the lock hole. The key component in the lock body is the “lock tongue”, which cooperates with the “lock hole” to realize the two states of “close the door” and “open the door”. That is, the locking tongue is inserted into the locking hole to close the door, and the locking tongue is separated from the locking hole to open the door. Because of the retractable function of the bolt, it was named the "electric plug". It is also because of this feature that electric mortise locks are often used for various swing doors (two-way opening). At the same time, its "hidden" installation features are more suitable for places with high security requirements for locks.

There are two types of electric plug locks, power-on unlocking and power-off unlocking. That is, the state when the former is energized is the state in which the lock tongue is inside, and the latter is reversed. However, under normal circumstances, firefighting requires opening the door with a power failure to prevent the door from opening automatically when a fire occurs!

The current lock has 2 cores (power + and -) 5 cores (power + and - and gate magnetic two state points and common points) and 8 cores (power + and - and gate magnetic two state points and common points The lock core is 3 points).

The simple way to distinguish the quality of the lock is to look at the appearance. Another simple method is to rub the weight by hand, and the general quality is relatively heavy.

When installing, install the lock body (including the bolt part) in the spine, and then install the lock piece (including the keyhole part) on the upper part of the movable fan. When installing, you need to pay attention to adjust the corresponding position of the bolt and the lock hole, and the corresponding position between the ground spring and the ground lock. For a framed glass door, a locking piece can be used; but for a frameless glass door, the small door clamp "lower bracket" must be used as a keyhole.

performance

1, the strength of the lock tongue: If the lock tongue is weak, the lock tongue will automatically retract, or the reaction force is poor, the lock tongue is not stretched in time, and the meaning of its "lock" is lost.

2, lock body temperature under working conditions: no electric plug lock does not heat under working conditions, but should not reach the level of "boiled eggs".

3, working current: This indicator is related to the strength of the lock tongue, and also related to the temperature of the lock body working state. A properly designed electric mortise lock should strike a balance between the two.

4. Working voltage: There are usually 12VDC/24VDC, and most of them are 12VDC. The biggest benefit of 24VDC is that it requires less operating current.

5. Lock body size: This indicator is especially important for places with special installation dimensions. Some engineering size requirements are not achievable by the design.

6. Feedback signal: Some electric plug locks provide detection functions for the lock state, such as the detection of the position of the magnetic disk and the detection of the state of the lock cylinder. Higher security requirements can be achieved.

7. Delay design: It can realize automatic closing after a few seconds delay after opening the door. This feature is designed for some access control systems that cannot set a delay.
