As a CAD veteran, from ACAD2.6 all the way to ACAD2007, I have been expecting domestic CAD platform software to appear. In 2001, Zhongwang Company launched its own Zhongwang CAD platform software, which was inspired by the great success of Zhongwang. After 2004, several other related companies in China also launched similar products. The domestic cad software also looked at CAD software from Zhongwang. A solo show has become a situation of several contends. This is a good thing for domestic customers.
After repeatedly using several domestic CAD platforms, I gradually realized that even if the technical routes are similar, the five-year software and the two-year software are different in terms of release time theory. Due to my admiration for Zhongwang CAD software, in the following articles, the names of other domestic cad companies are not mentioned, and only "other domestic cad software" is replaced. I will analyze from the four most common features, following the last Auto Tracking System, this time for the second: Raster Image.
The application of raster images in CAD is very common. Although raster image files are much larger than the usual vector files, raster images are more vivid and realistic, and have an irreplaceable role in CAD drawing. The current CAD basically supports the insertion of raster images, but in the end, the difference between these functions, the author made a detailed comparison of the same release-level software:

For the five types of raster images in Figure 1, the display effect is better in all the CAD models tested. Due to the limited space, no one-by-one comparison is made. For the display effect of PCX and TIF, different CAD software has obvious differences, here is the comparison:

From the above comparison, we can see that in the comparison of the display effects of the two formats of PCX and TIF, the three types of software have obvious differences: the color of the medium-looking CAD is appropriate, the veins are clear, and the display effect is best controlled; the overall effect of AutoCAD It is also better, but the color is a bit too deep. It may be difficult to distinguish the details in the picture when the picture is reduced. The display effect of other domestic CAD is not satisfactory, the background color is wrong, and the overall effect is poor, which cannot be seen clearly.
3, the introduction of raster images in CAD, in addition to the basic display, we will often make related adjustments to the raster image, such as changing the brightness, contrast and its shade (IMAGEADJUST), changing the image quality (IMAGEQUALITY), change Transparency of the image. The effect of these functions can be reflected to some extent to reflect the raster image processing capabilities of this CAD software.
Here, the author only selects one of them - the "contrast" processing power for comparison. Set the contrast to near maximum and near minimum respectively (this makes it easier to distinguish between different effects).

PhotoShop is a premium product in image processing, and its powerful image processing capabilities have always been an authority in the industry. We borrowed a reference. From the above comparison you can see:
1) When contrast = 95 (close to maximum), PhotoShop, AutoCAD, and Zhongwang all perform well in contrast control. When the contrast is close to the maximum, it will show the effect of sharpening the edges and crystallizing the colors. Other domestic software is more like the deepening of the color, resulting in a simple distinction of color blocks like contrast = 95. Therefore, the CAD software's contrast processing ability for images, this round of comparison is AutoCAD's best, the middle is slightly less, other domestic software is not satisfactory.
2) When the contrast = 4 (close to the minimum), the contrast tends to 0, which will cause the image blur to be close to the discernible. You can see that PhotoShop, AutoCAD, and Zhongwang (the contrast is close to this effect when the ratio is 34). The effect, while other domestic software is more like faded color, the contrast has not changed much. The display effect at this level is still AutoCAD> Zhongwang> other domestic software.
3) It is also worth noting that Zhongwang has an effect close to other software contrast = 4 when contrast = 34, and there is a contrast effect similar to that of reverse color when contrast = 4 (Figure 10). Surprisingly.
As one of the most commonly used functions, the "raster image" extends to every corner of the drawing. The CAD software's display effect on the raster image and the ability to control the image effect directly affect the quality of the drawing, especially for those of the grating. In industries where image quality is critical, raster images become a decisive factor in the use of CAD software. Throughout the testing process, the author noticed that Zhongwang CAD is only slightly inferior to the international top image processing software PhotoShop in the subtle control of image quality change, while other domestic cad platforms have a large area of ​​color distortion. phenomenon.
As can be seen from the above comparison, in the "raster image" processing ability commonly used by users, Zhongwang CAD has reached a practical level, and some functions are even unmatched by other software (such as the reverse color phase mentioned above). Contrast control), there is still a certain gap between PhotoShop and AUTOCAD in the control of extremely fine processing effects. The depth of development of other domestic software is obviously insufficient. Currently, it only has the most basic format support and the simplest display function. It is still unsatisfactory to display PCX and TIF format images and related adjustment capabilities, and there is still a long way to go before they are practical.
In fact, it is very difficult for domestic CAD platform to challenge autocad's hegemony in China. The author is very optimistic about the domestic CAD platform software. To seriously compare the differences of domestic platforms, I hope that the domestic cad platform enterprises will progress faster. After all, it is medium. Looking at a market alone is not the best for customers, but domestic CAD platform companies must calm down, let go of all impetuousness, increase development efforts, and develop products that truly satisfy customers, rather than just making an immature The product is rushing to the market and going to the concept of speculation.
