The UAE’s Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC) said on the 17th that the company plans to invest US$100 million to build an aluminum extrusion plant.
The aluminum plant is planned to be constructed in the Khalifa Port and Industrial Park in Taweelah, with an annual output of 50,000 tons of aluminum extrusions and related products.
The company said that the construction project will begin in the third quarter of 2010.
The company also stated that aluminum billets and liquid aluminum will be obtained from Emirates aluminum smelters.
