In machining, it is often encountered to machine non-metallic workpieces. The workpiece shown in Figure 1 is a non-metallic workpiece produced for foreign aid. The workpiece material is plexiglass. It is difficult to machine a hole having an eccentricity of 3 mm on such a thin glass having a large thickness and a large diameter. We first machined on the drill press and lathe, and the result was not cracks around the hole, or the entire workpiece was broken. We analyzed the cause of this situation and envisaged whether the method of heating drilling can be used. The specific method is as follows.
