It is reported that recently, the one-stage Gas-to-Gas Natural Gas project of China Aluminium Qinghai Branch's Carbon Firing Plant was successfully ignited at one time, marking that the company's production systems all use clean, environmentally friendly energy and natural gas, and bid farewell to the “gas era”.

It is understood that Chinalco Qinghai Branch Company has gradually implemented gas-to-gas natural gas projects since 2005, and the production system has gradually realized the natural gas ring network. Natural gas is widely used in electrolysis and carbon production processes, which not only greatly reduces environmental pollution, but also realizes The purpose of increasing production and quality. In 2006, the company invested 20,680,000 yuan to carry out the gas transformation of the boiler, so that smoke emissions, sulfur dioxide emissions have reached national standards, gas boilers, greenhouse gas emissions is only 70% of coal-fired boilers.

The roasting process after the implementation of coal-to-gas reform adopts all domestic advanced combustion automatic control systems, and the relevant process parameters are set at the leading domestic level.

Since the implementation of the project, the physical and chemical properties of the carbon block have been improved, and the appearance qualification rate has been maintained at more than 98%, which meets the requirements for electrolytic strengthening current. According to preliminary calculations, the company has increased the production capacity of a roasting plant with coal gas to 15% annually, and the annual energy-saving benefit can reach several million yuan.
